All fees are estimates in AUD and may be adjusted depending on the specific technical complexity, claims count, and official fee revisions.

    What’s Included

    Standard fees cover official filing fees, professional attorney fees, documentation, and regular incidentals within the designated scope in AUD.

  2. 02

    Excluded Fees

    Fees exclude substantive office action responses, oppositions, translations, patent annuity/maintenance fees, and national phase entry in secondary jurisdictions.

  3. 03

    Pre-filing Recommendation

    Australia Standard Patents provide up to 20 years protection (up to 25 years for pharmaceuticals). Note that the Australian Innovation Patent was phased out on 25 August 2021.

  4. 04

    Fee Adjustments

    All figures are estimated in AUD and subject to adjustments based on currency fluctuations and official tariff changes.
